The Local Time Lightning Component can be placed in Accounts, Contacts, Leads, Opportunities, and Cases lightning record pages. The Salesforce Administrator typically changes the layouts for these pages and adds the component in a desired location.
The following example shows how to place the component in the Accounts page. Similar procedure can be followed to place it in Contacts, Leads, Opportunities, and Cases pages.
Step 1 – Switch to Salesforce Lightning Experience. Go to Object Manager -> Account -> Lightning Record Pages. Click on the Account record page where you would like to add the component, and then click the Edit button.
Step 2 – From the Lightning Components pane on the left, drag and drop the LocalTime component in the layout at your preferred location. Click the Save button to save the page layout changes. Click the Activation button to deploy these changes to your org.
Step 3 – Visit a sample Account Lightning record page and you will see the component shown in the selected location.
