Local Time Lightning Action

The Local Time lightning action can be placed in Accounts, Contacts, Leads, Opportunities, and Cases pages. The Salesforce Administrator typically changes the layouts for these pages and adds the button in a desired location. Note that the action works only in Salesforce Lightning Experience.

The following example shows how to place the action in the Accounts page. Similar procedure can be followed to place it in other supported pages.

Step 1 – Switch to Salesforce Lightning Experience. Go to Object Manager -> Account -> Page Layouts. Click the layout where you would like to add the action.

Step 2 – Select Mobile & Lightning Actions and then drag and drop the action Local Time to the Salesforce Mobile and Lightning Experience Actions area.

Step 3 – Click Save button to apply the changes to the layout. The action is now added to the Accounts page.
